THE ENTREPRENEUR CHALLENGE from Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity.
This challenge runs from 1st October 2015 to 30th November 2015 and will see teams taking part to turn £50 into the largest amount of money they can through any legal form of business activity they can think of!
There are various prize categories up for grabs including:
Entrepreneur of the Year (Highest profit)
Most Innovative Idea
Best Marketing Campaign - (we are sponsoring this category!)
Best Team Name
Ideas and possibilities are endless with this challenge so get your thinking caps on and come up with an idea to really inspire people and bring in the money!

RAFFLE, BAG PACKING, DRESS DOWN DAYS, SPORTS TOURNAMENT, AUCTIONS, THEMED BALL, BAND NIGHT, TALENT COMPETITION, FASHION SHOW, RAFFLE, CAR WASH, COFFEE MORNING, MAKE A JOKE BOOK, HOST A DINNER PARTY, DOG WALK, QUIZ, SUPPER CLUB NIGHT, SPONSORED THIS OR THAT, TREASURE HUNT, GOLF DAY, PHOTO COMPETITION, CUSTOMISE T SHIRTS, SPORTING DINNER, DANCE COMPETITION!
Top Tips for Sucesss:
Start with a £50 stake (provided)
Come up with a catchy team name
Use all your skills, contacts and resources to grow your £50 stake money
Use the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity logo along with registered charity number (1123304) on any advertising materials (but let them see your marketing materials before you have them printed!)
Make sure you get permission prior to an event i.e. from supermarkets for proposed bag packing event
Take photos and videos of your fundrasising if possible and share on social media, both your own and the business pages
Ask for help from other businesses for donated services and products
Reinvest profits into more stock etc. if you believe it will result in growing your £50 stake money
Utilise any match funding that you are able to access

There will be a Networking Launch Event hosted by ABP Southampton on Thursday 24th September 2015 mid afternoon at the City Cruise Terminal, 101 Berth, Western Docks, Southampton. Invitations will be issued upon sign up. There will be a guest speaker, networking opportunities and refreshments provided. Participants will be briefed on the aims and objectives of the challenge and presented with their stake money (crisp £50 notes) by the title sponsor, The CVM Group. Press and other media partners will be invited to the event and there will also be opportunities for group photos of the teams and sponsors.
